In this activity, students will complete a worksheet in which they must confront inner motivations and values of autonomy, mastery, and purpose and begin to define these values in their own terms. They articulate examples in which they showed initiative and self-directed success and consider the benefits of their actions as well as the consequences of inaction. In so doing, students will
- recognize the importance of proactive, independent, decision- making
- identify workplace needs
- complete tasks with minimal direct supervision
- apply solutions
- define personal motivators and barriers to motivation.
