I am not easily inspired, but I found this video, “Rerouting–Work is Evolving, So Can You” (from Lumina Foundation and Roadtrip Nation) to be amazingly uplifting. It addresses three adults at different stages of their lives from diverse backgrounds who are seeking a change in their careers. Nearly everyone considering career change, including every student just entering the world of work, has experienced the self-doubt, fears, and general confusion of career change, one of life’s biggest adventures. The documentary follows the three as they meet with and interview industry leaders across the county. Along the way, they learn about the ocean of opportunities available to them, if only they can find the courage to take the next step and embrace the change.
